Retrocast Podcast #4 - 10/02/2010

It's Funk time!

This weeks episode of RetroCast is gauranteed to get your feet tapping, your head nodding and make you live longer.

Funk is the sound of the day...my long awaited records have arrived and they're all here in this Podcast.

As you will know - the podcast was intended to help me listen back to my sets, looking for errors. It's safe to say there are a few errors or parts that could have been 'done better' - so i'll take these on board for the next installment.

Finally, a BIG thankyou to Tim Acheson for his help with getting the podcast streams working - this guy's a genius. He has his own blog - check it out at http://www.timacheson.com/Blog/2009/oct/skydrive_api

RetroCast Podcast #3 - 03/02/2010

Welcome to the third RetroCast podcast.

In this installment, the turntables are taken over by some of the most influential Rock outfits of all time.

I wont state what tracks are played - you'll have to listen to the podcast - but I will say this; there wasn't much room for more than a few tracks due to the pure length of these individual masterpieces!

Dont forget to visit the RetroCast website at www.RetroCast.Web.OfficeLive.com

RetroCast podcast #4 coming soon. To get a preview on what tracks will be played, visit the website.

RetroCast Podcast #2 - 01/02/2010

Today RetroCast was launched, and because of this, we felt it would only be right to add another podcast to listen to.

I will be playing these on my commute to work in the morning, maybe you will too.

RetroCast

RetroCast's Debut Podcast!

Hello and Welcome to RetroCast.

This podcast was initially created for personal use to stream while commuting, to help improve my DJ skills. I decided to allow any retro music lovers to listen in as well.

What's in the podcasts? Anything old and funky goes - soul, rock, pshyc, freakbeat, Funk, Motown and anything else that gets feet tapping. All songs are recorded from my own vinyl collection that has been growing steadily over the last year.

This is the first podcast from RetroCast - Podcasts will be short and sweet - roughly 5 or so tracks each time to leave you wanting more.

The voiceover is supplied by Vozme. Podcasts were made using Technics turntables, a Gemini mixer and Audacity.

Subscribe and enjoy,
